What influenced us to work with Child Evangelism Fellowship? We both came to know Christ as our Savior before the age of fourteen. This is the time that people are the most open to the gospel. Our desire to serve in this ministry to children is as a result of when we came to know the Lord as well as God working in our lives showing us that this is the time all must hear of God’s grace and be invited to trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.
We have had the privilege of beginning our ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship in 1978. We began as local directors of the Sioux Falls Area Chapter and then moved to Huron where we served as state director for South Dakota. In 1993 we moved to the International Headquarters in Warrenton, Missouri. We have been involved in various roles since then including Vice President of USA Ministries, Assistant Vice President of International Ministries and most recently Human Resource Director. All of these opportunities allowed us to work side by side with the staff to take the message of Jesus Christ to today’s child.
September of 2009 we were approved as assistant regional directors of the North America/Caribbean Region. It is the vision of Child Evangelism Fellowship to be in all 209 countries of the world by 2017. This would mean that God will open the doors to all the children of the world by Child Evangelism Fellowship’s 80th anniversary.
Our role is to work side-by-side with the regional director to build the ministry in each country and establish a ministry in the countries currently without a focused ministry on reaching the next generation.
